RECAP: American Ninja Warrior Season 16 Episode 7 (S16: E7) Semifinals 3 & 4

The latest episode of American Ninja Warrior aired last night on NBC. Athletes raced head to head to secure their spot in the next round.


Josh Miller and John Mack went head to head first on the new episode. The pair was fairly even throughout the course. John Mack hit the buzzer first in 7/100 of a second.

Jonah Maningo raced Anthony Porter. Anthony grabbed the wrong side of the Wingnut, giving Jonah the lead. Anthony fell on Spinhopper.

Karson Voiles and Josh Salinas faced off next. Karson fell on Spinhopper.

Madelyn Madaras went up against Dallas Fort Worth resident Karen Wiltin. Madalyn took the lead after the early obstacles and hit the buzzer in 2 minutes 53 seconds.

Karen Potts raced Ally Tippetts Wootton. Ally fell on Hopscotch, giving Karen the win.

Isaiah Thomas faced Arnold Hernandez. Arnold fell on Hopscotch. Isaiah finished the course in 56 seconds.

Karsten Williams raced Nick Hanson. Karsten fell on the wingnuts, giving Nick the win.

Chynna Hart raced Megan Johnson. Both athletes fell on the the Wingnuts. But, since Megan finished Spring Forward first, she moved on.

Francisco Barajas raced Kyle Soderman. Kyle fell on Spin Hopper, but moved on.

Jody Avila raced Sam Folsom. The pair were close the entire race, but Sam was able to hit the buzzer first.

Isabella Wakeham raced Ixchel Valentino. Isabella fell on Hopscotch. Since Ixchel was able to complete the obstacle, she moved on to the next round for American Ninja Warrior.

Jonah Brown raced Jonas Harmer. Jonah was able to hit the buzzer in 1 minute 20 seconds.

Kyle Schulze raced Jesus Capote. Jesus fell on the Wingnuts. Kyle hit the buzzer in 2 minutes 32 seconds for the win.

Ricky Vu raced Daniel Gil. Ricky fell on Hopscotch. Daniel hit the buzzer in 1 minute 8 seconds.

Reigning champion Vance Walker raced Brigham Youngstrom. Vance hit the buzzer in 57 seconds for the win. Brigham fell on Spinhopper.

Safety Pass Race:

Sam Folsom raced John Mack. John slipped on SpinHopper. Sam hit the buzzer in 41 seconds to win the Safety Pass.
