The season finale began with Josiah Pippel on course. Josiah stayed focused and determined on the course. Unfortunately, he faced a mishap on the Pizza Party transition and fell into the water.

Kyle Soderman made his 3rd appearance on Stage 3. In past years, Kyle has fallen on the dreaded Ultimate Cliffhanger. Kyle managed to push through the first 3 obstacles. Unfortunately, he met his match once again at second to last transition of the Ultimate Cliffhanger.

Sean “the Papal Ninja” Bryan was next. At 39 year old, he is the oldest ninja to take on the Stage 3 Finals obstacle course. Bryan got his pilots license 2 years ago, and was looking to fly through to Stage 4. He had some struggle on the Ultimate Cliffhanger, but made it through. Unfortunately, the Pizza Party got the best of the Papal Ninja.

Caleb Bergstrom was next on the course. Bergstrom showed no issues on the first 4 obstacles. The Pizza Party obstacles can be very tricky, but Bergstrom was able to push through. With a smile on his face, Caleb Bergstrom hit the buzzer for a chance at total victory on Stage 4 of American Ninja Warrior.

Sam Folsom was up next. The obstacle designer from Illinois and his girlfriend Isabella Wakeham won the Couples Championship just a few months ago. Folsom eased through the early obstacles and made it to Pizza Party, but lost his grip on a transition.

Austin Gray was up next. Last season, Gray made it to the final obstacle Road Signs. This time, he made it to the first flip of Pizza Party.

Nacssa Garemore was up next. The young ninja excited the crowed as he crushed Pizza Party. Garemore stayed composed, and was able to hit the buzzer for a chance at total victory on Stage 4.

Jackson Twait was up next. Jackson flew through the early obstacles. Unfortunately, he fell on the first rotating transition of Pizza Party.

Noah Meunier was up next. He’s collected 9 buzzers in his young career. Muenier was able to hit the buzzer as the 4th athlete to reach Stage 4 of American Ninja Warrior Finals.

Joe Moravsky was up next. This is his 6th trip to Stage 3 of the Finals. Moravsky was looking strong, but fell on the final transition of the last obstacle. Will we see the 35 year old next season?

Vance Walker was up next. The reigning champion was calm and confident throughout the course. Walker was able to hit the buzzer once again for another chance to win $1 million.

The ninja warrior finalists for Stage 4 were Vance Walker, Caleb Bergstrom, Noah Meunier, Nacssa Garemore, and Kai Beckstrand.

STAGE 4

Kai Beckstrand went first. The young ninja was not able to make it up the 75 foot rope in under 30 seconds. He did hit the top buzzer at 49 seconds.

Nacssa Garemore is back for another shot at total victory this year. Unfortunately, he wasn’t able to make it to the top in time. He hit the buzzer at 46 seconds.

Vance Walker was next. The reigning champion sped up the rope, and was able to hit the top buzzer in 27 seconds. Will the last two remaining ninjas beat his time to win $1 million?

Next up was Caleb Bergstrom. Caleb made it to the rope last season, but came up short. This year he was able to hit the buzzer in time at 28 seconds!

The last ninja to run was Noah Meunier. Last year, he was just a few seconds away from the top. This year, he didn’t make it to the buzzer in time, but received a clocked time of 31 seconds.

This meant that Vance Walker becomes the 2x American Ninja Warrior champion, completing Season 16 with a bang.
